Central Scotland Branch - Freindship Week 2010 - 7th to 14th August 2010

Central Scotland Branch will host their fourth Friendship Week in Stirling to celebrate 30 years of the branch and 60 years of the IPA. Guests will be based in the City of Stirling and visits will be made to Edinburgh and Glasgow, including The Edinburgh Military Tattoo. See Itinerary below....

The cost for the week is £625 per person (single supplement of £105). A non-returnable deposit of £60 per person will secure your place and there will be a limit of 100 guests. For a Booking Form please contact us.

The price above includes accommodation (three star hotel), breakfast, most meals, entertainment every evening, Gala Dinner and all tours.

A warm welcome is guaranteed and we look forward to seeing some "auld freens" (old friends) and also some new ones in 2010!!!

Saturday 7th August 2010

Arrival day.

Dinner at hotel followed by presentation previewing the coming trips.

Sunday 8th August 2010

1100hrs Formal Opening of Friendship Week and Civic Reception (uniform can be worn)

1230hrs Surprise event in the afternoon (outdoors)

1930hrs Dinner at hotel followed by entertainment. Casual dress.

Monday 9th August 2010

0730hrs Departure for Day trip to Pitlochry including a whisky distillery

1930hrs Dinner at hotel followed by entertainment. Casual dress.

Tuesday 10th August 2010

0900hrs Departure for Day trip to Glasgow (lunch included)

1930hrs Dinner at hotel followed by entertainement. Casual dress.

Wednesday 11th August 2010

0900hrs Departure for Full day to Edinburgh, including the world famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the evening (no lunch/dinner provided). Remember suitable clothing as Tattoo is outdoors!!

Thursday 12th August 2010

Free day to explore historical Stirling (Stirling Castle/Wallace Monument etc.) or just relax

1830hrs Drinks Reception followed by GALA DINNER within hotel (if anyone wants to hire kilts we will have a company arranging this at the beginning of the week). Formal or national dress.

Friday 13th August 2010

1100hrs Presentations (anyone with items to present can do so)

Free afternoon to recover from Gala Dinner!!

1900hrs Dinner at hotel and Burns Night (celebrating our national poet Robert Burns). Casual dress.

Saturday 14th August 2010

Departure day.
